My oldest son Matt and my son in law Justin and I had an epic hike planned for this weekend, but thunderstorms were predicted and we thought it best to cancel. We were going to hike the Benton MacKaye trail from Hwy 515 over to Skeenah Gap. That’s about 21 miles and we were going to do it in a couple days. We were so looking forward to this one since the hike we had planned last year was also rained out! Oh well, we’ll get to it soon.

Justin and I did do a day hike from Skeenah Gap over to Hwy 60 on Sunday. That’s 5.2 miles and it was a beautiful morning with no rain.
