Wow, we had a very productive weekend in the vineyard. I rented a one-man post hole digger to make the job of digging 6 end post holes, 3 line post holes and 24 planting holes a bit easier. Also needed to make sure I broke through a couple sections of hardpan. The post hole digging

Rain, snow and ice. Plans to grade the vineyard on the weekend of March 7 & 8 2015 have been squelched by rain. The area received about 5 inches of snow the last week of February. That was followed the next week by rain two days and one day of more snow making the slope
